Promise Land Cemetery

Promise Land Cemetery is a very small, family oriented, cemetery on the Eastbank of Plaquemines Parish. It is located between the towns of Dalcour and Greenwood.


It was donated to the people of the community in 1890 by Mr Joseph F Meyer and his wife, Angele C Meyer.


There are 21 veterans buried here, 20 of which are war veterans.
